About the Role

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled UEMS Consultant to join the Nephrology department at our Eastern site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing nephrology services at both Exeter and Torbay.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of ward, haemodialysis, and Exeter Medical School duties. In the Senior Clinical Tutor role, they will be involved in in-person teaching, workplace-based assessments, and supporting non-clinical teams in organizing teaching and developing teaching and assessment resources. The role holder will also be appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a higher degree and experience in renal medicine. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. The successful candidate will also be appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and will be involved in in-person teaching and workplace-based assessments.
