About the Team

You will join the Operations Department responsible for all online delivery and service contracts for premier customers whilst providing excellent customer service of all projects from site surveys to multiple phase/week installations with both in-house engineers and subcontract engineers.

About the Job

The role of the Technical Project Manager is to be a leader within the Operations Department, serving as the strongest technical figurehead within the team while liaising with the Engineering Team to manage the delivery of all projects within the business and execute the company's core values at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage margins and budgets of each project
  • Ensure quality of equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers adhere to company standards
  • Alongside administrators, organize and deliver all projects to standard
  • Technical specification of all jobs, cable schedules, and drawings where required
  • Overall management of service contracts alongside a designated engineer
  • Demonstrate proactive behavior in driving repeat business through quality work and customer delight

Candidate Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in Project Management with Audio Visual, preferably video conferencing systems or similar
  • Experience of Audio Visual drawings and ability to work out if they are feasible
  • Able to manage projects with multiple rooms for different clients at any one time
  • Experience and passion for the Audio Visual sector and staying up to date with the latest products on the market
  • Some prior experience working alongside AV engineers
  • Ability to communicate with customers either over phone, email, or onsite
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of all company products, services, and business processes as well as having a high level of technical knowledge to deliver solutions accurately
  • Display a high technical understanding of all the Company's products and services
  • Comfortable attending supplier and vendor training sessions to ensure up to date on all technology and products
  • Where required, become certified on supplier/manufacturer accreditations to bolster the Company's standing within that supplier/manufacturer
  • Identify gaps in knowledge and work with the Managing Director to plug these gaps
