Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Modelling and Simulation Systems Engineer to join our client, a world leader in the defence sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing activities including modelling, algorithm development, and systems studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex models and simulations to support defence systems development.
  • Design and implement algorithms to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate modelling and simulation results into system design.
  • Conduct data analysis and technical report writing to support system development and testing.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to degree level in a STEM subject.
  • Experience in a similar role involving modelling and simulation.
  • Strong interest in finding innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in MATLAB and development of models in Simulink.
  • Formal software or firmware development experience.
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Model verification, configuration control, and model release processes.
  • Continuous Integration and Testing.
  • Machine Learning and AI.

Security Clearance:
