About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Electus Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems and models for our defence sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop modelling and simulation systems for defence applications
  • Develop algorithms and software for system studies and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate modelling and simulation systems with other defence systems
  • Conduct data analysis and technical report writing to support system development and testing
Requirements
  • Qualification to degree level in a STEM subject
  • Experience in modelling and simulation, algorithm development, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink, with experience in developing models and algorithms
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing, with experience in verification, configuration control, and model release processes
  • Experience in continuous integration and testing, with knowledge of machine learning and AI

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens (or Dual UK nationals with British citizenship). Applicants who meet these criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
