POSITION SUMMARY

This role presents a unique opportunity to play a vital part in the ongoing and future development of a leading manufacturer specializing in mixing equipment. Under supervision, you will leverage your technical expertise and professional background to assist in the production and delivery of our offerings, ensuring seamless integration into our clients' operational environments.

As a Program Coordinator, you will serve as the primary liaison for clients throughout the contract execution phase, ensuring compliance with client specifications, managing the contract to meet projected profit margins, collaborating with the manufacturing team to establish production timelines, handling change requests, and working closely with the Industrial Product Engineering team.

A solid understanding of the commercial ramifications of engineering decisions, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members while maintaining a strong focus on delivery, are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Multiple Initiatives: Manage several projects concurrently, ensuring all are progressing as planned and meeting established deadlines.
  • Monitor and Report Progress: Track and communicate the status of projects, including costs, timelines, and deliverables from both engineering and production perspectives.
  • Organize Project Teams: Structure project teams, assigning specific responsibilities and collaborating directly with applications engineers, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality assurance, procurement, and operations.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Guarantee adherence to quality standards and contractual specifications, conducting comprehensive reviews of technical documentation to avoid any oversights.
  • Identify and Resolve Challenges: Proactively identify and address any barriers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Vendor Management: Work with procurement to select vendors, oversee vendor timelines, and act as a liaison between vendors and the organization.
  • Manage Client Contracts: Engage directly with client contracts to provide updates and facilitate the resolution of any technical inquiries that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate Client Instructions: Prepare and manage client instructions to ensure clear communication and mutual understanding.
  • Documentation and Presentation: Create presentations, complete client submittal documents, conduct client surveys, and manage other administrative tasks as required by the project.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Program Coordinator in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with a strong grasp of machining, welding, assembly, and mechanical design processes.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with engineering documents, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Communication: Professional and confident in interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP are advantageous.
  • Attributes: Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities; capacity to influence project timelines without formal authority.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as necessary, including visits to suppliers and clients.
