About the Role

As a Disability Assessor, you will work independently to assess the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions' (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). Your role will involve conducting consultations and writing comprehensive reports that support the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your clinical experience to work with individuals with diverse health conditions, gaining a deep understanding of how their challenges impact their daily lives.
  • Conduct approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face, working in an office-style environment and at home.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the DWP's decision-making process.
Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration is required.
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Great Yarmouth.
