Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Practice Services team as a Practice Coordinator for the Firm's Global Disputes Practice. Our Practice Services team serves as a bridge between practicing lawyers and administrative functions, working in a collaborative and dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional internal and external service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of internal data, as well as local and global industry market data, to inform business development initiatives.
  • Participate in Practice strategic planning and drive business development initiatives, working closely with lawyers and fellow staff to advance and execute initiatives.
  • Draft internal presentations and client analytical reports, utilizing strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Update and maintain Practice marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support internal Practice and cross-practice meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist local and global teams with preparation of submissions for legal directories, industry awards, surveys, and league tables.
  • Collaborate with lawyers and the Business Development & Communications team to coordinate client-focused events and activities.
  • Maintain, update, and coordinate information in internal data systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support Practice budgeting, personnel evaluations, and other administrative activities, including cross-practice Firmwide initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel capability and confidence in creative calculations and data analysis.
  • Strong PowerPoint capability.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • General knowledge of and familiarity with law firm practices, including health care and life sciences, is preferred.
  • Strong service orientation and ability to work with a wide range of people on a global team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond positively to changing priorities.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability and receptiveness to learn new systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in general Office applications, i.e., Word, Outlook, and Teams.
