About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Design Leader to join our Corgan team. As a key member of our ECHO team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a regional team, supporting projects across various sectors, including aviation, data centers, education, interiors, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects, workflows, staffing, and administrative tasks
  • Lead a regional team and support projects on topics such as design and assessment, bespoke sustainability frameworks, environmental and energy analytics, health and well-being design strategies, energy transfer studies, material use, third-party certifications, GHG emission analysis, and coordination of sustainability assessments and benchmarking of building projects
  • Work on projects focusing on the development of climate impact mitigation and resilience strategies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on a wide range of client and project types
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, Planning, Urban Design, or a closely related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with a consistent track record
  • Hold a AIA, PE, CEM, and/or LEED accreditation
  • Experience in building design or engineering, including identification, analysis, and selection of integrated strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of specific building or campus scale sustainability topics
  • Experience with building environmental analysis tools and sustainability assessment frameworks
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to present confidently to a variety of audiences
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities
