About the Role

Corgan is seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Design Leader to join its global team of experts in environmental sustainability. As a key member of the Corgan - ECHO team, you will play a crucial role in managing and leading regional teams to deliver exceptional sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead regional teams to deliver sustainable design solutions
  • Support projects across various sectors, including aviation, data centers, education, and interiors
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop climate impact mitigation and resilience strategies
  • Conduct sustainability assessments and benchmarking of building projects
  • Develop and implement sustainable design strategies, including health and well-being design, GHG emission analysis, and coordination of sustainability assessments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, Planning, Urban Design, or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with a consistent track record
  • AIA, PE, CEM, and/or LEED accreditation
  • Experience in building design or engineering, including identification, analysis, and selection of integrated strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of building or campus scale sustainability topics, such as indoor environments, healthy materials, embodied energy, energy analytics, and more
  • Experience with building environmental analysis tools, such as Pollination, Solemma, Autodesk Insight, Energy Plus, Tally, or others
  • Sustainability assessment of projects using frameworks like LEED, WELL, ENVISION, and/or other GBCI rating systems
  • Assessment and estimation of energy and resource efficiency potential
  • Sustainability codes and standards development and implementation
  • Integrated systems design, including energy, transportation, water, waste, and materials
  • Experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, and interdisciplinary team management
  • Proposal development and management

Desirable Skills:

  • Climate change-related policy and services action development, including GHG mitigation and climate adaptation
  • Performance design strategies for complicated building types, such as aviation and data centers
  • Portfolio, campus, and city-scale sustainability and resiliency frameworks
