Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
* Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance to support decision-making
* Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
* Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
* Support ad hoc projects and analysis as required

Ideal Candidate:

* Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing or Retail sector
* Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial principles
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development

Additional Requirements:

* At least 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or retail SME
* Proven track record of providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
* Experience in driving financial performance and supporting business decision-making
* Familiarity with accounting standards and financial regulations
* Experience in developing and improving financial processes and controls
* Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock management
