Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Content Creator to join our award-winning Social Media team at YoungMinds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, growing our target audiences, and boosting engagement across our organic social media channels.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to use your creativity and skills to drive impactful social media campaigns that promote positive change in children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media content calendars that showcase our brand's personality and values
  • Create high-quality, engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, including copywriting and graphic design
  • Grow our social media audiences and boost engagement through data-driven insights and analytics
  • Manage and schedule content using social media scheduling/reporting software
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our organizational goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of our social media policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in producing high-quality, engaging social media content for a brand or personality
  • Experience in growing social media audiences and boosting engagement
  • Excellent copywriting and graphic design skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicting deadlines
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative ideas for social media campaigns
  • Strong understanding of mental health, current affairs, social issues, campaigning, and British politics
  • Strong understanding of Anti-Racism, Justice, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (AJEDI) principles
