We are looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Logistics Support Specialist.
In this essential position, you will assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy by overseeing the dispensing workflow, packaging shipments, and managing inventory, all while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing & Packaging:
Facilitate a streamlined and effective workflow, including the preparation of postage labels for outgoing shipments.
Carefully pack boxes after the pharmacist has included the necessary medications, ensuring all items are accounted for.
Timely and accurately update the patient's records with dispensed items.
Inventory Management:
Support the oversight and control of medications and supplies, with an emphasis on maintaining cold-chain integrity.
Compliance & Safety:
Uphold a tidy and organized workspace, complying with all health and safety standards and company guidelines.
Assist the pharmacist in addressing and resolving any queries related to dispensing.
Team Collaboration:
Engage in team meetings and training sessions to remain informed about best practices and company policies.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of dispensing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Customer Service:
Although this role does not involve direct customer interaction, you will be expected to provide outstanding service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care, as directed by the pharmacist.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Basic computer proficiency for record management and label generation.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
