About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Training Specialist to join our team at Scania UK. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs that cover a wide range of automotive technical subjects.
- Utilize various training methods to engage learners and ensure that the content is accessible and adaptable to all learning styles and backgrounds.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration among all delegates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance the training curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to delegates to develop their technical problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborate with the wider People Development team to assess the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and performance evaluations.

- A proven record of technical training experience within the HGV sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
- A strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and technologies.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
