About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Creative Industries Production Technician Apprenticeship. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the technical theatre industry and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction, rehearsal, and presentation of live performances
  • Operate and maintain technical equipment, including lighting, audio, and video systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and work as part of a team to ensure the smooth delivery of events
  • Monitor and operate systems or services relevant to the workplace
  • Assemble scenery and staging systems to meet performance requirements
  • Carry out live scene changes and operate stage and suspension systems
  • Inspect systems or services relevant to the workplace and carry out maintenance, basic repairs, and upkeep
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Basic knowledge of technical theatre and lighting, audio, and video systems
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and systems
