Transforming Cost Management with Turner & Townsend

A leading digital cost consultancy, Turner & Townsend, is seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our cost management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional cost advice to our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in cost management, particularly in the areas of feasibility studies, procurement reports, and value management. Your expertise will enable us to provide innovative and data-driven solutions to our clients, helping them to achieve their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports to inform our clients' decision-making processes.
  • Apply value management techniques to optimize project costs and ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Manage the procurement process, from pre-qualification to contract preparation, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Validate monthly payment claims and prepare payment recommendations for MEP-related works and packages.
  • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Lead a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver high-quality results and meet project deadlines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in cost management, with a strong background in commercial, corporate, and high-tech sectors.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience in cost estimates, bills of quantities, value engineering, tendering, and contract knowledge.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
