About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Accounts Payable P2P Assistant to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Finance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and invoice adjustments into Workday within agreed service level agreements.
  • Complete quality checks to ensure accurate processing and prevent duplicate or incorrect invoices.
  • Review and investigate supplier statements with items aged over 30 days, liaising with the Payments team as required.
  • Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring key suppliers are fully reconciled.
  • Educate business coders and approvers on correct policies and procedures.
  • Support the end-to-end process, enabling the Payments Team to settle supplier invoices within agreed payment terms.
Requirements
  • Good level of experience in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, reconciliation environment, and foreign payments (desirable).
  • Demonstrable awareness and ability to learn HMRC requirements in respect of VAT and payments within UK banking systems.
  • Experience of working in professional services or a partnership (desirable).
  • Experience of invoice processing (desirable).
