Candlelighters is a leading children's cancer charity in Yorkshire, dedicated to bringing hope and support to families affected by childhood cancer. Our mission is to improve treatment and find cures for children's cancer, while providing a range of services to help families cope with the challenges of childhood cancer.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fundraiser to join our team as a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement a Trust Fundraising Strategy that will generate income for our charity and help us achieve our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Trust Fundraising Strategy that aligns with our charity's goals and objectives
  • Research and identify new Trust and Foundations funding opportunities
  • Prepare compelling Trust applications and proposals
  • Build and maintain relationships with Trust funders and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on the income and expenditure of restricted funding

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Trust Fundraising or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the charity sector and Trust Fundraising landscape
