Grants Officer

As a Grants Officer or Senior Grants Officer at WSP, you will be a key member of our UK work winning function, collaborating with senior colleagues and building relationships with teams across internal business units.
Key Responsibilities- Apply WSP's work winning process to provide innovative ideas and high-quality evidence to our technical experts and proposals team.
- Implement and lead on governance and stage gate decisions, including investment calls and go-no-go bid decisions.
- Develop bid strategies, including document analysis, research, and facilitating win workshops to build commitment to the strategy within the bid team.
- Create detailed bid plans and additional materials, such as guidance templates, writing style guides, and CVs.
- Manage the work winning process and own the bid/capture plan, including deliverables and project managing the pursuit from start to finish.
- Write the bid, leading and delivering answer planning and storyboarding sessions, and interviews to develop benefits-driven copy aligned to bid win strategies.
- Manage review deadlines, leading, guiding, and coordinating quality colour reviews, and programming them into your bid plan.
- Liaise with the commercial lead to manage outputs, ensuring reviews incorporate commercial strategy.
- Coach and rehearse with the team to ensure successful delivery of content.
