Job Title: Beauty Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a Beauty Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing strategic and daily procurement activities to ensure that Saab Seaeye has world-class supplier quality and delivery capabilities at the lowest possible cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish strategic alliances with key suppliers to improve overall supply chain performance in line with company objectives.
  2. Actively manage supplier performance and continuously work with existing or new suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  3. Negotiate long-term purchase orders/contracts with key suppliers to ensure delivery of critical customer contracts.
  4. Build strong supplier relationships and work closely with the Quality and Material Planning functions to implement business improvements.
  5. Collaborate and communicate with other Saab supply chain functions in the UK and worldwide to develop efficiency opportunities and exploit synergies.
  6. Manage a team supporting production material buying, strategic supply chain management, and procurement for new products.
  7. Assess, identify, and monitor staff skills and training requirements to avoid exposure and skill shortages to the business.
  8. Keep good time management to minimise any wasted time and maximise productivity and effectiveness.
