Beauty Supply Chain Manager

At Saab UK, we are seeking a highly skilled Beauty Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing strategic and daily procurement activities to ensure world-class supplier quality and delivery capabilities at the lowest possible cost.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strategic alliances with key suppliers to improve overall supply chain performance in line with company objectives.
- Actively manage supplier performance to ensure delivery of critical customer contracts.
- Work closely with the Quality and Material Planning functions to implement business improvements and increase overall business profitability.
- Collaborate and communicate with other Saab supply chain functions in the UK and worldwide to develop efficiency opportunities and exploit synergies.
- Manage a team supporting production material buying, strategic supply chain management, and procurement for new products.
- Assess, identify, and monitor staff skills and training requirements to avoid exposure and skill shortages to the business.
- Monitor workloads, efficiency, holiday, and effectively manage staff resource levels and report potential shortfalls.
- Ensure good time management to minimise any wasted time and maximise productivity and effectiveness.
