About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a complex caseload in North London, utilizing therapeutic frameworks to ensure the best possible care and support. You will work mostly from home, with occasional visits to our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a caseload of foster carers and children looked after, utilizing therapeutic frameworks to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Provide regular support and guidance to foster carers, promoting a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and educators, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess the well-being of children and provide guidance to foster carers.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience working with children looked after and their foster carers.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic frameworks and their application in social work practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, children, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
