Job Title: Supervising Social Worker - Home Based

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is home based, offering a high degree of flexibility and autonomy.

About the Role

The Supervising Social Worker will be responsible for overseeing a small caseload of foster families located in the South London area. The role involves providing support and supervision to foster families, working closely with therapists, education leads, and other Social Workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, with experience in working with foster families and children in care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and supervision to foster families
  • Work closely with therapists, education leads, and other Social Workers
  • Develop and implement individualized plans for foster families
  • Conduct regular visits to foster families
  • Monitor and report on the well-being of children in care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Social Work Degree
  • Experience in working with foster families and children in care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
