Job Title: Supervising Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supervising Social Worker to join our team at TACT (The Adolescent & Children's Trust). This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the needs of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers to provide high-quality services to children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide supervision and support to social workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a social work setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of current social work policies and procedures, with a deep understanding of the needs of children and families.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £31,764 per annum, plus £750 homeworking allowance and £1,500 OOH allowance.
  • A 35-hour working week, with flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
