Job Summary

Kreston Reeves is seeking a highly skilled Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in Canterbury. As a key member of our Private Client Tax team, you will be responsible for managing and processing private client tax workflow, providing exceptional client service, and ensuring adherence to individual job budgets and maximum fee recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process private client tax workflow, ensuring high-quality client service and adherence to individual job budgets and maximum fee recovery.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of private client tax work.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, HMRC policy, and industry developments to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax advice and services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of private client tax work and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in private client tax, with a strong understanding of tax legislation and HMRC policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
