Job Title: Copywriter

At JD Group, we are seeking a talented Copywriter to join our team. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating engaging copy across all touch points, adopting the brand tone of voice in all written communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product descriptions for all categories, showcasing the unique features and benefits of our products.
  • Understand and adopt the JD tone of voice in all copy, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Write engaging blog posts to support marketing, product, and sport messages, highlighting the latest trends and industry insights.
  • Format blog copy into Wordpress using basic HTML, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Apply introductory SEO skills to optimize copy for search engines, improving our online visibility.
  • Craft compelling copy for CRM, including subject lines, email copy, push notifications, and message centre, driving customer engagement.
  • Create engaging copy for paid channels, following strict word counts, to maximize our advertising impact.
  • Improve rankings with new and updated Fredhopper copy, staying ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level or equivalent, with a strong foundation in writing and communication.
  • Commitment to working as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Pro-active attitude, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Passion for writing, with a keen eye for detail and a creative flair.
  • Able to work quickly and effectively, while maintaining a high level of quality and managing workloads.
  • Organized and able to manage own workflow, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas to line manager and other team members, ensuring effective communication.
