The Association of British and Irish Wild Animal Keepers is looking for a dedicated Wildlife Care Specialist to enhance our animal husbandry team. This role involves overseeing the daily care and management of various species within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and maintenance for a diverse range of wildlife.
- Maintain high standards of animal welfare and health.
- Engage with visitors to educate them about animal care and conservation efforts.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a zoological environment.
- Relevant qualifications such as DMZAA or equivalent.
- Strong observational skills and a commitment to animal welfare.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Species360 database.
