We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wildlife Curator to join our team at the Association of British and Irish Wild Animal Keepers. As a key member of our conservation team, you will be responsible for the care and management of our diverse collection of waterfowl, Chilean flamingos, and Asian short-clawed otters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Collection Manager in achieving the highest standards of animal husbandry and welfare.
- Work with the collection team to maintain and improve our exhibits showcasing the spectacular variety of wetland wildlife.
- Deliver high-quality talks and events, sharing your knowledge of conservation with people of all ages.
- Assist in the maintenance of the collection exhibits and infrastructure on site.
Requirements:
- Previous animal husbandry experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
