About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Capital Commercial Department at Severn Trent Water. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in leading our Commercial teams and working collaboratively with project management functions on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of commercial quantity surveyors and work with the in-house delivery team to provide pre and post-contract expertise.
  • Negotiate and finalise work orders, prices, and terms with our supply chain and run tenders and negotiations.
  • Validate, test, and challenge the costs associated with projects, ensuring contract administration is administered correctly and draft and support contract awards.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced commercial professional with extensive experience in the NEC suite of contracts. Ideally, you will have a degree qualification and/or RICS accreditation. Experience in the water or wider utilities industry is desirable but not essential.
