This effort is crucial as the Trust embarks on the journey of acquiring and implementing an electronic patient record system. Accurate clinically coded data is essential for the Trust to fulfill its overarching mission of providing "safe, exceptional, person-centred care." This is vital for monitoring and driving improvements in the Team's adherence to Local and National Coding rules, standards, and conventions, ensuring that the data is accurate, comprehensive, and of the highest quality.

The role entails assisting in the development and implementation of best practice systems and processes to guarantee timely and high-quality coded data across the Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for planning and conducting audits, formulating action plans, and implementing monitoring against targets aimed at enhancing the depth and quality of clinically coded data.

Additionally, the post holder will serve as the System Manager for the 3M Medicode Encoder and other clinical coding data quality software.
