Join Our Team as an Asphalt Plant Operator

We are excited to announce a vacancy for a Plant Operative to become a vital part of our operations at our Asphalt facility.

In this role, you will oversee and manage the safe and efficient functioning of the Asphalt plant, ensuring optimal production while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in maintenance activities, enhancing your skills and contributing to the plant's overall performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Operating mobile machinery, including loading shovels and skid steers.
  • Performing yard duties, including banksman responsibilities.
  • Assisting with deliveries and conducting asphalt sampling for the technical team.

What You Bring:

  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety, environmental regulations, and housekeeping practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in a quarry or asphalt setting is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Flexibility in work hours, including willingness to work weekends and night shifts.
  • A thorough understanding of the products produced by Asphalt plants.
  • Knowledge of operational procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Capability to plan effectively to optimize raw material usage and minimize waste.
  • A valid driving license.
