Warehouse Operations Manager

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and growing company? We're seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Foreman to join our team at Johnsons 1871 Ltd, a leading player in the logistics and removals sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse operating systems to optimize handling and storage requirements
- Enforce and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure a safe and organized working environment
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop processes for receiving items, equipment, and plant servicing, inventory management, and organization
- Lead by example and promote a culture of health and safety within the warehouse
- Assist with site housekeeping, deal with deliveries, and act as a driver porter as required
- Complete weekly and monthly tasks, including packing material stock takes, equipment service planner updates, and hazard checks
Requirements:
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and lead by example
- Strong organizational skills, leadership skills, and decision-making abilities
- Qualification in logistics, supply chain management (desirable)
- Driving license (essential)
- Forklift truck license (counterbalance & reach truck) and containerized storage experience (preferred)
