We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Employment Coach Assistant. In this role, you will provide critical support to our Employment Coaches in conducting program induction sessions, running Job Clubs, and undertaking troubleshooting activities to ensure individuals sustain employment.
Key Responsibilities- Engage participants following referral to the program through outbound calls.
- Conduct welcome/introduction meetings for small groups or individuals, gathering identification evidence and completing necessary start administration requirements for DWP and ESF.
- Undertake initial assessments with customers, update records, and book follow-up meetings with designated Change Coaches.
- Sensitively handle customer concerns about joining an employment program or returning to work.
- Organize and undertake Job Club activities at central hubs or outreach locations, including job search, CV preparation, and talks from employers.
- Support bulk recruitment campaigns for specific employers and undertake visits to employers to resolve 'settling-in' issues when a customer starts work.
- Assist with customers' employment training needs, including travel training, and maintain accurate customer records compliant with quality procedures.
- Support Employment Coaches in re-engaging with disengaged customers and assist with additional activities such as bus fares, follow-up Did not attends, and mandating paperwork.
- Perform day-to-day office maintenance responsibilities, including post, stationery supplies, booking interpreters/taxis, and processing paperwork.
- Work flexibly to support all team activities as directed by the Contract Manager and participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure excellent customer service.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 'C' or above or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training to develop within the role.
We offer a competitive salary of £18,720.00 - £20,560.00 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
