Cyber Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Manager to join our team at Be-IT in Glasgow. As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage security incident responses, coordinate recovery efforts, and oversee vulnerability management. You will work closely with internal teams and managed service partners to ensure that events and alarms are properly investigated and resolved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading security incident responses and coordinating recovery efforts
- Overseeing vulnerability management and addressing system vulnerabilities
- Collaborating with IT teams to enhance detection capabilities and improve security operations
- Providing regular reporting on security performance and engaging with stakeholders to reduce risks
We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of attack prevention techniques, experience with cybersecurity tools, and knowledge of enterprise IT networks. Strong leadership and service management skills are also required, along with a desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
