We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Advisor to join our team at Connect2Dorset. As a Personal Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16 to 25 who are going through the asylum process.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and advice to young people to help them navigate the asylum process and achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with various partners, including solicitors and the Home Office, to ensure young people receive the support they need.
  • Deliver statutory responsibilities under the Leaving Care Act 2000, ensuring young people's needs are met and their plans are properly reflected.
  • Support young people in pathway planning, helping them to identify and achieve their strengths, aspirations, and needs.
