Fleet Administration Apprentice

As a key member of our Head Office Engineering team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our public transport services. Our Fleet Administration Apprentice will work closely with our dedicated team of engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance and fleet information
  • Support the administration of MOTs, vehicle taxation, and operator's licence discs
  • Provide administrative support for engineering department training and development
  • Collaborate with depot admin teams to ensure seamless communication and data exchange
  • Generate reports and provide data insights to support depot administration and management teams
  • Perform other general administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to drive or travel to all Lothian Group sites
