Job Title: Area General Manager

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for managing large-scale FMCG distribution sites? Do you have a proven track record of success in the food industry? We are seeking an experienced Area General Manager to join our client's team in Southampton.

About the Role

As an Area General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the site, including intake and distribution of products from suppliers and to customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the site meets company and regulatory standards, working closely with supply chain teams, sales, and operations departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site intake and distribution of products
  • Oversee overall management of intake of products from suppliers
  • Ensure site meets company and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams, sales, and operations departments
  • Manage stock control and BRC compliance
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Warehouse/Operations/General Management experience within the food industry
  • Collaborative approach with stakeholders and positive people management skills
