Job Title: Area General Manager

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for managing large-scale FMCG distribution sites? Do you have a proven track record of success in the food industry? We are seeking an experienced Area General Manager to join our team at D R Newitt & Associates.

About the Role

As an Area General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our distribution site, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing site intake and distribution, working closely with our supply chain teams, sales, and operations departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site intake and distribution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers
  • Oversee the overall management of intake of products from suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Work closely with our supply chain teams, sales, and operations departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance, ensuring our site meets company and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Proven experience in warehouse/operations/general management within the food industry
  • Previous experience using ERP systems and Microsoft
  • Commercial astuteness and ability to make informed decisions
  • Collaborative approach with stakeholders and positive people management skills
