£44,000 to £49,000 + Bonus

Contract Type - Full time (37.5hrs per week)

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Child Care
  • NVQ Level 5 in Residential Child Care
* Minimum of 2 Years Experience in Supervisory Roles within Residential Child Care

  • Valid UK Driving Licence

About the Role:

We are pleased to present an opportunity for a dedicated Childcare Services Manager.

In this position, you will assist the Responsible Individual in fostering an environment conducive to the growth and development of each child, ensuring their active participation in decision-making processes.

Working in residential childcare can be dynamic and requires adaptability to various tasks and responsibilities.

As such, all team members are expected to demonstrate flexibility and take on responsibilities that may not be explicitly outlined in the job description as necessary.

Should a new task become a regular aspect of the role, it will be incorporated into the job description following a discussion with the employee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current care regulations and standards.
  • Manage staff rotas effectively.
  • Prioritize high-quality outcomes in all activities within the residential setting.
  • Acknowledge the necessity of providing tailored and flexible care solutions to meet the individual needs of each young person.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of every young person by addressing their care, educational, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health requirements.
  • Provide appropriate supervision and oversight of children and young people at all times.
  • Collaborate with parents, families, caregivers, and other professionals to advocate for, protect, and enhance the welfare of children and young people.
