Horns Drove Community Childcare is a well-established charity run setting for children aged 2 -11 years old. Our wrap around care includes breakfast club, pre school, after school club and holiday club.

Rated GOOD with OFSTED.

We are based in the grounds of Rownhams St Johns Primary School, Hampshire and accept children from the local area.

Our friendly and supportive team offer a warm welcome to children, parents / carers and staff.

**JOB SPECIFICATION**

To assist in the day-to-day care of children aged 2 - 11 years.
- have a good knowledge of the EYFS as well as child development to carry out observations and planning for key children
- uphold standards by adhering to the setting’s policies and procedures, ensuring diversity, inclusion, maintain safeguarding and confidentiality to the highest standard
- be expected to deliver the highest quality of care and follow our curriculum in line with the ethos of our setting and OFSTED guidelines.
- have a Level 3 childcare qualification or above
- preferably have a Pediatric First Aid qualification but training can be given
- preferably have a Level 3 safeguarding certificate but training can be given
- be passionate about providing the best outcomes for children
- be enthusiastic, fun, creative and a good role model
- have a commitment to self-development and be prepared and motivated to keep knowledge and skills updated
- believe in promoting and building strong parent partnerships to provide cohesive learning for the children
