About the Role

Majestic Wine is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Performance: Support your store team in meeting and exceeding sales targets by focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Wine Knowledge and Sales: Demonstrate and share your passion for wine with customers through in-depth knowledge of our range. Sell the story, not the discount.
  • Store Maintenance and Operations: Take ownership of the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Operational Tasks: Participate in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store and implement solutions with your team.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure you remain fully compliant, safe, and legal by following internal policies and completing mandatory training.
  • Team Player: Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members.
