Job Title: AD Hoc Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Hospital Newbury. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. You will be working with patients who present with a range of mental health and psychological needs, and will be responsible for undertaking and managing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Adult Mental Health Services
  • Experience in Acute and Rehabilitation Services and the Recovery Model
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
