We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our Organisational Development department at the University of South Wales. As a key member of our HR systems and analytics team, you will play a crucial role in helping us transform our organisation and progress our data maturity to the next level and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a self-service driven approach to ad hoc data requests, monitoring of KPIs, and automated outlier detection to alert managers to any issues in their teams.
- Support statutory reporting and work with internal stakeholders and working groups to provide insights in support of strategic and operational objectives.
- Ensure sound data quality and assurance management processes are in place.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of HR data, SAP Business Objects, and MS PowerBI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR data, business intelligence tools, and data analytics.
