Job Description

As a Management Accountant at Tessenderlo Group, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of our plant. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize financial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with group and business unit policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations to management to improve financial performance.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure alignment with business unit and group objectives.
  • Financial Control: Implement and maintain effective financial controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and to mitigate financial and business risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with plant management, business unit teams, and group functions to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field of study.
  • Qualifications: CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
