About the Role
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join its Finance Department as a Financial Operations Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of accurate and timely financial management information to the Health Board and its budget holders.
Key responsibilities will include processing month-end journals, maintaining budgeted establishments, and providing ad-hoc costings and financial information to support the Divisional Support Accountants.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance department, with excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
Main Duties
- Assist in the provision of accurate and timely financial management information to the Health Board and its budget holders
- Process month-end journals to ensure a materially robust financial position is reported
- Maintain budgeted establishments and provide ad-hoc costings and financial information to support the Divisional Support Accountants
- Deal with ad-hoc queries from service teams and meet with budget holders as required
