About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join our Design Team as we accelerate our customer, adviser and employer experience transformation and reimagine our digital services.

As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will join a dedicated team with likeminded colleagues passionate about providing exceptional experiences and helping ensure our customers get the best possible outcomes.

About the Job

  • Provide extensive business and deep technical expertise to help teams design, develop, test and implement efficient front-end solutions.
  • Support other multidisciplinary agile squads, collaborating with them to bring about the rapid adoption of the Design System amongst their products and the wider business.
  • Contributes to the development and delivery of Royal London's Design System, ensuring conformance with set standards including accessibility and select front end frameworks.
  • Ensure all code is thoroughly tested to meet our standards, guidelines, and quality gates for given technologies.

About You

  • Strong understanding of web and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Deep technical knowledge of one or more programming languages.
  • Expert knowledge on HTML5, CSS, JS.
  • Familiar with UI and JS frameworks including Bootstrap, Material Design, Angular, Typescript.
