About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Marine Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo Technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of complex marine vessels and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet client needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our design capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, Naval Engineering).
  • Professional membership of a relevant engineering institution (RINA, IMarEST, IMechE).
  • Recognized as a Chartered Engineer by the UK Engineering Council (or ability to achieve within 6 months).
