Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate technical functions to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop capabilities to support project delivery.
  • Support checking of deliverables and continuous process improvement.
  • Be the technical focal point of the team and build good working relationships with customers.
  • Provide advice and support to team leaders and members to ensure project success.
  • Consult on planning activities, impact of additional scope, and change.
  • Work with the Technical Authority and functional team to provide technical governance and ensure technical aspects comply with the QMS.
  • Support risk assessments and identify cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop team members and consult on training needs.
Requirements
  • HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering.
Essential Skills
  • Experience of marine hardware, systems requirements, and standards.
  • Leadership experience in engineering teams delivering complex projects.
  • Strong engineering background and customer-facing experience.
  • Marine defence experience preferred.
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
