As a Senior Technical Lead - Marine Engineering at Expleo, you will be responsible for integrating all technical functions of the project team to ensure that technical requirements are met. You will assist in developing capabilities to support the project, support checking of deliverables, and support continuous process improvement. Additionally, you will be the technical focal point of the team, building good working relationships with customers, and providing advice and support to Team leaders and Team members to ensure that the project is on track. You will also consult on planning activities, the impact of additional scope and change, and work with The Technical Authority and functional team to provide technical governance and ensure the technical aspects of the project comply with the QMS. Furthermore, you will support and identify cost-saving initiatives, and support the development of team members so they have an appreciation of the different functions that are involved in the delivery of the project.

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND/Degree in mechanical engineering

Essential skills

  • Experience of Marine hardware, systems requirements and standards
  • Experience in leading Engineering Teams to deliver complex multi-functional projects
  • Strong Engineering background for the capabilities listed
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing engineering role
  • Marine Defence experience preferred

Experience

  • 10+ years of marine design, preferably with subsurface
