Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to enhance our expanding Stronger Families Team.

This interdisciplinary team collaborates closely with families encountering significant obstacles that may jeopardize their unity.

In light of our team's achievements, we are excited to expand our workforce.


Core Objectives
Our primary mission is to provide assistance in a reflective and comprehensive manner to ensure families remain together. The Stronger Families Team partners with a variety of professionals, including social workers, educators, and youth justice representatives. Our non-statutory team encompasses a range of roles, such as parent and family workers alongside youth workers.

We deliver focused, short-term assistance to children and families in distress throughout the county, intervening when there is a risk of family disintegration (for instance, when a child may be placed in local authority care) to help more children and young individuals stay safely at home and within their communities.

Role Responsibilities
As a Youth Worker within the Stronger Families Team, your responsibilities will include nurturing significant relationships among young individuals, their parents or guardians, and other professionals.

You will be tasked with ensuring ongoing communication with families and providing informal education that fosters the social, emotional, and educational growth of young people.

Our support framework is rooted in trauma-informed practices, principles of child development, and attachment theory.
