About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sessional Youth Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support and guidance to young people involved with the NHS Cadet Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hour-long sessions to young people, with an additional hour for flexible planning, to support their development and growth.
  • Work closely with a Project Lead and other Youth Support Workers to plan and deliver content tailored to the individual needs of the young people on the programme.
  • Support the recruitment of young people onto the programme and ensure they have the necessary resources and opportunities to succeed.
  • Act as a point of contact for young people enrolled on the programme, providing guidance and support to help them maximize their opportunities for growth and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the programme runs smoothly and administrative duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

About You

  • Proven experience of delivering training or activities to young people, with a focus on motivating and inspiring them to reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to suit a variety of audiences and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High levels of IT literacy, with a good knowledge of MS Office and remote working tools.
